Ban Thai Restaurant in Husum

Absolutely satisfied !!! Super delicious food and more than well-intentioned portions. In addition, the ordered food tasted fresh and had not gone cold after it was delivered. It arrived before the 45 minute allotted time. We are absolutely satisfied, we are now happy to recommend Ban Thai and will definitely order here again!

We wanted to go there a little longer, but that was currently done due to COVID-19, so we ordered there for the first time today. 1. The food was delivered very quickly, much faster than advertised 2. The portions were just right, almost too big 3. The meals were very fresh, the vegetables were crisp and very flavorful. In terms of taste, the food was several times better than in Asian restaurants in the region. All in all, very satisfied and very full. Gladly again.

We ordered something to eat and had it delivered. Taking orders was very courteous and friendly. The delivery was still below the announced delivery time of 45 minutes. with us in the surrounding area 10 km away. It was very tasty, a lot and arrived very warm to us. We will definitely order again. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Many thanks to your team!

We were here to eat with 4 people in October 2020. The service was very friendly to us. We immediately felt at home. The hygiene measures were impeccable. And the food was really delicious! We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. We'll come back to eat :-)

In order to have a change from fish on vacation, we chose this restaurant and had a very nice evening there, which was made possible for us, despite short-term reservations. The dishes were excellent and consistent. The starter platter for two was huge and revealed a great selection of Thai delicacies. The service was friendly and attentive, although we were the only guests in the end because of the late hour. The prices are more than fair! Another positive thing was that the duck was out. This suggests that whatever one tasted is freshly cooked and bought accordingly. We recommend!

Quickly got hold of a table on New Year's Eve and a very tasty meal. Finally spicy food, only promised elsewhere - here the promise is kept. We were served very courteously and friendly. Affordable and for sure not bad A little restaurant in the north of Germany, offering Thai food. It's cozy and welcoming. The menu is a way to big. I didn't count but for sure you have 200 different options to choose your meal - way too much and it doesn't make it easy. I missed the love in the presentation a lot. And indeed all what we had looked the same, the sauce was pretty similar and unfortunately it was kind of boring. On the positive side was that the vegetables were really good and not too soft, the scampi were brilliant cooked and you felt that the chef is not a bad one - in the range the menu gives him. I am sure they can do way better re cooking, presentation and the final result. Half of staff was caring, half unfortunately not - they sld really think about what they want. I will give it a second try one day and I hope they will improve. After all it just needs a bit more love and a restructured concept.

We were really happy to discover a place like Ban Thai in Husum. The Penang Curry was incredible and I highly recommend to try it. Not the completely westernised version with red curry and no tanginess at all, but a rather flavourful curry with freshly ground peanuts and lime leaves. The tom kha soup was a bit too sweet for my taste unfortunately, but had plenty of mushrooms. They could offer more vegan options though, as most dishes are vegetarian themselves, but to serve them with Tofu or just without meat is not offered on the menue. Service was really friendly.

Small but nice! If there was anything to complain about, it would be the amount of the rice side dish. It was a little little for 3 main courses. Otherwise there was delicious, authentic food in a casual atmosphere. We would love to come back. Reservation seems to make sense, because at 6.30 p.m. it was already quite full!
